First, smoking goal. I do believe that I am done with smoking real cigs. Now, if I see them and have them in my reach the temptation may be too great, but last night my husband was smoking right in front of me and it didn't bother me a single bit. At no time did I crave an actual real cigarette.
That's the good news. Real cigs have temporarily been replaced by these things called E-Cigs. They're decent, and contain enough nicotene in them to drive away the migraines, and general over all bitchiness. Think of it as a patch, but in inhalant form. I plan to be completely off of these by the end of summer. Either way, right now, my children are benefitting from me not having regular cigs anymore. And that's the most important thing.
In puppy news...
Moby is happy to be home again though isn't pleased with the current "sit down and be still so you don't pop your stitches again" arrangement. We did take her for a nice walk last night and will be taking her again later today.
While Moby seems to be adjusting well, Cara is not. Cara has started biting. She's biting over food and over toys mostly. I reached down to pet her last night and she thought I was going for a toy she wanted. I was shocked and really unsure of what to do. Did a bit of research, and now I know what to do. Since work is slow today, I'll be working on Cara (and Sonny's leash training as well) for most of the day.
And this is the weekend of the big family experiement. Wish me luck! I myself am going to carry on as though there is nothing different about this weekend. I am going to carry on as though M is always here and has always been here. This is M and Pie's weekend together.
I just hope that it goes well so that we can do it again in the future. Pie needs this and I think on some level, M needs it too. He just may not realize it yet!
Anyway, I'm out. I gotta get started on a very busy weekend over here. Enjoy your day, everyone!
