Two posts about work in a row! Wow. I must have work on the mind a lot lately! It occurred to me earlier that I never set forth our challenges for 2014.
For the year 2013, we stated that if we earned greater than $60,000, we would get our S-Corp status again. We earned $71,000 and so now I am investigating this further so that we can move forward.
In 2013, we earned $71,000 and we paid out $63,000 to our contractors. Wow! At the end of the year, we turned a profit of $1036.15! We turned a profit!!!! For the first time since 2012, we had money left in the bank at the end of the year. Great job, teams!
In 2014, we want to earn $100,000 or more. We want to pay out at least $85,000 to our contractors. Lastly, it's our goal to end the year with a profit of $10,000.
In 2014, we also want to have five new long term ongoing clients; each may have more than one project.
We want to grow our social media as well as our blogs.
I'm excited and think we can do this. I do have to get more eggs for our virtual baskets though. Project management is fun, but we do have to constantly search out new projects.
This is where I don't fare so well. I'm not great with sales. I don't know how to go out and find the clients. That is one thing that I'll need to learn as we go.
I am so grateful to every single person on all of our teams. there is no way that we could even come close to our goals without you guys. It is the team that makes a business successful. I can't thank you guys enough. <3
