I've been thinking about something for quite some time now. I'm just not sure how to go about it. Back on LiveWork, I had wanted to set up an agency type thing for Kinzer Projects. Remember how each job had it's own posting and forum and such? I wanted to do something like that for KP, but instead of a client, I'd have my contractors in that team. Then, when I needed contractors for jobs, I could turn to my own team much easier.
When I tried to do that at LW, I was told "nope nope! No can do." However, I can do this with oDesk, and I'd really like to. I'm just lost on how to do it, then how to find jobs for everyone. Do I need to have the jobs before I can get contractors? But without contractors, how do I have people to do the jobs?
The oDesk documents say that I would be responsible for tracking a person's income/taxes, etc. But then, I thought oDesk sent out the 1099's at the end of every year. Does that then mean I would have to send them?
I would love to do this but not knowing how to even go about setting it up is presenting some difficulties.
