A New Planet

I think that with as much as Science has given us, as well as what it has taken from us, Science owes us one. Here's my idea.

Dear Science, please find us a new planet that is as much like Earth as possible, but not yet inhabited by humanoids. (This way, we're not taking from another species.) Then, please allow people of this planet to go there, after signing the following agreement, so that the rest of the world can continue on it's path of self destruction. The agreement is as follows:

1) Every person that goes must not have a communicable illness. Even if it's just a cold, they have to wait until they're over it to go.
2) Each person must agree to only use renewable, natural energy sources. No oil. No gas. No nuclear crap.
3) Each person must agree that only biodegradeable products will be made and used except in the cases where biodegradeable products MUST be used.
4) We know a lot of trees will be destroyed to make room for cleared land, houses, businesses, etc. Each person must agree to plant one new tree every year for the rest of their lives. Their descendents would have to abide by the agreement as well.
5) Each person must agree that animals will only be hunted for food purposes, and all of the animal will be used. Only animals used for food purposes will be able to be used for leather, etc.
6) Each family will get a minimum and a maximum of 5 acres of land free of charge. Once all of the inhabitable land is gone, everyone else is locked out. If the land is not being used, then it goes to the next person in line.
7) Every person must agree that there will be no hunger as each person will do their part to work the land, and the sea. Each person will do their part to assist others that may need what another has.
8) Each person must agree that the entire new planet will be one huge, rural community. No more skyrises. No more malls that are miles long. Stores, entertainment complexes, etc, should take up no more than 2 acres worth of land. One store/entertainment complex is allowed every 20 miles. 50% of the profits will be used for the development of technologies that are planet friendly, or given back to the people for healthcare, education, etc.
9) Each person must agree that if their destination is less than 5 miles from their location, they are to walk or ride bikes. Cars, public transportation, etc should only be used for longer distances. If you have children, then learn the old style of using giant horse drawn carriages. Elderly, and those without the use of their legs are exempt.
10) Solar power good. Develop it!
11) The use of metals and plastics are unavoidable. However, they should be kept to a minimum, and always recycled.
12) Every community will have one 5 acre burn site. Any material that is not recyclable, but can be burned safely, should be taken to the burn site. Burns will occur when rain is expected to help wash the smoke back out of the air. If suffering droughts, then special containment units with filters will be built to keep the smoke from the air.
13) Once you arrive on the new planet, you STAY on the new planet. No going back and forth.
14) People above a certain income limit, and politicians, are not allowed to go. It's not that we think you aren't worthy, (well politicians aren't) it's that your time and resources are needed here on this planet to try to undue the damage done.
15) Anyone with a criminal record can not go.
16) Everyone must agree that if they commit a crime, and are found guilty, they either get shipped back to Earth, or face death. Any crime. Stealing. Murder. DUI. It's all the same. The exception to this rule is for the mentally ill, and children. Mentally ill automatically get sent back. Children are given as many chances as possible.
17) No politicians allowed. Politicians may be burned at the stake.
18) For the most part, everybody does their own thing. If they wanna marry someone of the same sex, that's no one's business but their own. If they want to worship God, Satan, Aphrodite, or nobody at all, that is their own business and nobody else's. As long as they are harming nobody but themselves, the choice is all theirs.
19) Every person is responsible for the care of their family, no matter how extended the family may be.
20) Children, animals, wildlife (both animal and vegetable) as well as senior citizens will be upheld in the highest regard and treated with the greatest of respect.
21) It takes a village to raise a child. Agree or stay on Earth.

I think that is all, for now. Basically, a back to basics type planet. We have the technology for solar power. If this planet doesn't want to develop it, send us to one of our own. One where we decide how much money is worth. One where we can say "it will cost nothing at all to develop this technology. Those working on this technology will have their needs provided for by the people and will not need to worry about money." Before you guys manage to turn this planet into another sun in our solar system, give the rest of us a chance by sending us to one of our own.
