I'm not fond of working the phone lines. DR calls in particular always make me feel extremely sleezy. Those types of calls wouldn't bother my husband so much, and for many people, they're easy. But, they bother me. I don't know. Maybe it's the idea of trying to force certain upsells down a person's throat that gets to me so badly. I mean, if they say no, I have no issue asking one more time but some of those scripts make yuo keep asking until the person is screaming at you in frustration.
And of course, if you don't read the green, you can lose your contract. It doesn't matter what the paperwork says, the fact of the matter is, the green is go.
However, my family has gotten used to living up to a certain standard now. I tolerated the phones as long as I had to but once I found LW, I was off the phones. I kept an LO account, but mostly as backup. I want to earn, at a minimum, an extra $1000 per month. For each dollar, that's 4 minutes on the phone if the line I'm working earns 25 cents each minute.
So that's 4000 minutes on the phones. Yuck. That makes it 1000 minutes per week, divided by seven days. so that comes to just under 143 minutes on the phones each day. That's just under three hours, but only if it is back to back calls. I may as well count on at least 4 hours on the phones each day.
Four hours. I can do that. If I try to stay away from the DR line, I should be able to make it. The DR line is the busiest line though. I hate that DR line.
I guarantee one thing though. If I have to work the phone lines in order to keep our standard of living, my husband will work them too. I may even install a second phone line so that we both can work them at the same time. Of course, I'll only ask him to work them on the weekends. And it's mostly because misery loves company more than anything else.
Whenever somebody tells me they need a job, and need one NOW, the first thing I do is tell them about West and LO, then tell them there are many other jobs like this. This is where I got started, and thus it is where I return.
So now, I need to get a longer telephone cord, find my headset and if I can't, replace it, and get black out curtains to reduce noise from outside. Hopefully, the phone itself still works. If not, I get to shell out more money for that as well.
It would be best for me to get restarted as soon as possible so that I don't have to worry about losing the contract before I do get started. I plan on getting busy with it again before the weekend starts. And of course, once I jump in, I will love it, or at least fake it til I make it.
I will not suffer a loss in income. I can't suffer a loss in income. Therefore, I won't. :D Working the phones brought me to LW. No telling where they will take me next!
